Christmas eve photos
Here are my photos from christmas eve in orchard rd.
I almost daresay the place was the closest to a singapore riot.... littered liberally, ppl all trying to spray each other for kicks. At some pts it was really ugly.
Shot almost completely without flash (hence the 'arty' impressionist actionshots)
(joe deludes himself again ... blur=arty?!?)
entirely shot on my contax U4r, any bigger cam would be victim to the gangs of prowling sprayers. really like the little thing.
ooh little out of pt fact.... the last pict.... the figure in yellow jerking from being sprayed is josh.
He was looking out for me (how brotherly aww..) when a friend decided to say hi, an orchard christmas eve way.

Just worked on research for dad, regret to say online is devoid of corporate history beyond the mundane concerns of investors.... maybe i need to try harder.
popped by sch to go gym and pass smthing to Mr dunn and talk to mo.
Sat ard for hrs just meeting and talking to ppl.
it was cool but i shd stay out of acj for a bit, it tends to sap too much time and hints i have no life.
in other related thoughts i wish joe wasn't such a twit/ass/bastard, it wouldn't kill him to say hi.such a brainless teenage male.
hope the ppl in sch are doing good, din get into conversation (or in some cases not at all... what a moron) that was that indepth. guess i'll just keep praying for them and all.
photo-related: i think i shd start shooting slide... wk on accurate color exposures.
I really would like to shoot something in b&w but for now since color is the much more prevelent one i shd challenge myself dat way.at least learn how to use color to my advantage.
sick at the moment... lungs went boom again ... mother decided to spray baygon while i was sleeping ... then they were painting the gate... i have a vague idea of what happens to a roach at the moment

This is catharsis
i never thought i needed to publicly purgate so bad
maybe its just cos i'm online.
Don't know why i'm so affected by James's death. maybe becaused its happened to Mrs C someone i respect so much. And the mortality has struck me ( haven't used that word for so long). I feel so drained.... maybe i had it coming. Is it ironic to say i'm ok with my own death but not anyone else's. even that might be untrue

Din't help that i went for mercy relief's opening of ernest goh's pictures of aceh... truly gd stuff i really like his wk but i really wsn't in an emotional state to take a good look. Plus the content was a bit on the too sober side for me at the time.
But my going was truly a chance thing.... met iskandar jailil (spelt wrong) the famous potter at the jalan bahar kiln ... amazing man .... hope to talk to him more as i spend time at the kiln. I said i was a photog (liars go to hell joe ... ur a wannabe stilll) so he told me he had a student's excibition opening and asked if wanted to go in his place. I said yes.
It was cool .... seeing all the photogs/photojs i look up to... din really want to network or anything, plus it din seem right to even try (yah .. u were just about crashing right?)
Good thing i met christine, ngiap heng's fiance, someone that icould talk to. And she pointedout alot of ppl to me. Din get to say bye properly but if u read this Thanks for the company!!
did up my portfolio again still very okish ... best wk is still my old ppl portaits the color wk is all half-baked crap.. no meat .... i'll throw it out at first chance. Thank you wesley for looking over it, man wes is one cool photog.... very balanced, Godly man ... and paitent too. Glad i got to know him am learning lots working for him.
really gonna need to wk hard if i'm going to make it. the mkt is really bad for starting out.
bought an 85/1.8 af nikkor... need for work ... took a loan from dad.
(joe still can't justify all this to the poor and starving of the world.... middle class moron)
sigh it not right i'mspending this kind of money.... but i'm in it for the long term.

i supposed there'll be at least a hundred blog posts from ac ppl on James Crefields's passing.
i'm not trying to be filppant but its the world we live in.
